After our successful collaboration with the band Siddharta on the song “1 Minuta” (1 minute) we immediately began discussions for a new project. Director Ven Jemeršić had a concept he had been developing for some time, and he successfully implemented it into the script he co-wrote with Sašo Dornik for the song “Satelita” (Sattelite). The idea of shooting a music video at a marathon pace forms the backbone of a story about a couple kept apart by time and space, a situation many people can relate to. Actors Vida Cvar and Denys Bilash beautifully portrayed the couple, while the band members also appeared on camera. The male role was initially intended for the lead singer, but he had to give up this opportunity due to a leg injury. The director of photography for this project was Darko Herič, who has collaborated with the director on several music videos. We are soon heading into pre-production for another video for Siddharta, but for now, let’s keep the rest a secret.
